The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), founded in 1940, is Thailand's oldest private non-profit university focused on business and related fields.

Approach

UTCC partnered with Com7 to provide iPads to all first-year students. Device management is integrated through a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system for centralized administration. The university pre-installs educational apps and also conducts examinations via the MDM system.

Outcomes

APLS (by Com7) organized hands-on iPad workshops for teachers focused on integrating AI and educational apps into teaching materials. Training was also provided for students on modern AI tools aligned with current learning approaches, plus practical tips for a smooth iPad experience that supports uninterrupted digital learning.

Usage

Students use iPads with Keynote, Pages, and Freeform, alongside AI tools, to develop critical thinking, presentation, and innovation skills. Faculty use iPads to deliver interactive lessons, provide real-time feedback, and create engaging learning experiences.

Apple and Partner Solutions Demonstrated

In 2025, UTCC renewed its Apple Distinguished School (ADS) status with key support from APLS and the Com7 team, including content gathering, video production, and guidance to meet renewal criteria.
